New version of the website - What has changed

The website has had important changes, even if they are not all visible. Here is the list of these modifications.
- Possibilities to register for free as members to have access to all the features of the website. At present time, only the access to comments is reserved for registred members, but in the future other privileges could be added.
- Directories french and english are eliminated. Both languages are now, gathered in the web directory. It is more efficient to have the same address for both languages. For each section, only one page is create and its content depends on the language that you chosed. If you are not registred member, you have to accept cookies to keep the choice of the language for your next visits. Do not forget to modify your links towards this site (even if the re-direction is automatic).
- All the pages (except the homepage) are renamed in a purpose of standardization, they have now a supplementary prefix: site_ (example: site_galerie.php).
- The display of photos uses a different system which allows saving photos with the right button of the mouse. It will please the persons who had some concerns with the previous version.
- Internal functions were improved to optimize the speed of display.
- Some bugs were corrected
Of course, if you notice some bad functioning, I invite you to contact me by e-mail. Please, note that the development still continues.
This version was in development since May 2009, so four working months for your satisfaction. I hope that you will appreciate this work in its true value.

Merci pour ce site.Complet, il à le mérite qu' on s' y attarde (au moins 24 heures!)...Manque peut-être une rubrique "discussion", ou les fans pourraient, par exemple, expliquer comment ils ont connu Jacky Ickx,en sont devenus fans, etc. Ou des questions que l' on se pose comme moi. Par exemple, existe-t-il des images vidéo du départ canon sous la pluie de la Mirage-Ford de Jacky ( Spa '68); Que sont devenues certaines des voitures de courses à bord desquelles il à forgé sa légende...Sinon bravo encore! |
